About Our Launch Days
See Some Model Rockets In Action!
Once a month (weather permitting) we meet up at Nunweek Park, with a more permanent site in the works. Here you'll see an awesome selection of rockets from Micros (smaller than a ballpoint pen), right up to D-Size rockets which can be as tall as an average adult!
We're happy to mentor adults/teenagers/kids on how to get into the hobby themselves, and with purchase of one of our rocket motors - or a $2 donation - you can launch them on our equipment.
Our Rocket Build Workshops
Want to build your very own launch-able Model Rocket? We can help with that!
We run fortnightly model rocket build workshops where you can come along and we'll give you all the materials and know-how to put a rocket together and ready it for flight!
These are currently run in cooperation with Christchurch South Library at their Makerspace in Cashmere, Christchurch.
These require booking in advance (there's no cost) as we need to ensure we have enough materials and space for everyone!
